Comments by readers about "Real Ales for the Home Brewer" and our service:
1. I bought this book by mistake really. I was looking for another one and couldn't find it, now I'm glad I did! The author gives very clear and simple to follow instructions for both full mash and malt extract home brewers in each recipe. There is a brief but informative section at the front of the book describing different yeasts, equipment, malt extracts and hop varieties. As someone who has brewed my own for years, I almost skipped those parts but often now find myself referring back to them for tips as they are very useful. The amount of beers is extensive, there are some very well known ones but the best are the beers you may not have heard of, or seen around for many years. The only disappointment I had was that Ind Coope Burton Ale was not in the book! All in all, I heartily recommend this book for the experienced and newbie brewer alike. Get mashing!
2. One of the best recipe books I have bought
